FULL DISCLOSURE: These are affiliate links and this helps reduce your investment.
Hosting – $5.95/mo.
This is mostly self-explanatory. Your site will live here from now on. You’ll want to choose from WordPress in the top navigation. Choose Shared WordPress Hosting. Follow the instructions to sign up.
Dreamhost: https://www.dreamhost.com/r.cgi?254553
Migration Tool – Free, as long as you cancel on time (even so, you can open a ticket for them to refund you)
This is the best tool for migration and backups. I use it for all migrations. It has a free seven day trial. I’ll migrate your site well before then and you can cancel it before you get charged.

Monitoring – Free
This is what I use to know that my clients are up and running.
The free service checks the site every 5 minutes, which is plenty. It walks you through the setup. It’s easy. With this you’ll know when your site is down and you can check with Dreamhost as to why.

Backup – Optional
Dreamhost is backing things up for you, but it’s not a direct part of their service and so it’s not their priority. So if you were to need to restore a backup, it could be from a time that is not that helpful to you.
If you wanted to run a backup service, then stay with BlogVault. It’s pricier, but it works. It’s super easy and super fast. If your site were to go down, you’ll be glad you spent the extra money.
Are you ready? Great! Once you have all of the above. Email me and lets make a plan.
